How to Join the Association of Broward County Florida Special Process Servers

We are a new organization trying to expand our membership with quality Special Process Servers or any Licensed Process Servers seeking to become part of a growing professional organization. Becoming a member of the Association of Broward County Florida Special Process Servers has many advantages. Becoming a member guarantees you will meet other process servers, make new business contacts, get more business and be part of a respected special community of process servers and legal professionals. As a member you will always have a "place" to go for questions, new challenges and to find new ideas. All members will be asked to participate in each meeting, though not required, which are planned as a networking event, to exchange ideas and to ensure overall qualitative and collective work ethics. All out of town process servers will receive email updates and special mention at all meetings and in all correspondence sent.

The annual Membership fee is only $95.00 per person to join. Though each S. P. S. may work for and or own an entity, ABCSPS memberships are offered to the individual/person not the business entity. Therefore, when you join it is you, not the business that becomes a member. However, all members will have their name, company name, website, coverage areas and all pertinent contact information listed in our online directory.

The initial benefits of an ABCSPS membership are:

1. Frequent meetings and email news.
2. New client opportunities.
3. Networking with licensed Process Servers.
4. Forwarding assignments with other Private Process Servers.
5. Working with policies, ethics and rules to assure high quality services.
6. Seminars, Tutorials and free advisory.
7. Ideas and Thoughts exchanged via a special "on-line" ABCSPS Yahoo group.
8. Annual convention.
9. Board of Directors.
10. Grievance Committee.
11. Vendor deals
12. Linking your website
13. Increasing your opportunities to marketing yourself on the internet.
14. Learn and earn from other ABCSPS members.
15. Belong to an active group of people who care and are "family" oriented toward each member.

Memberships are available to all licensed process servers who are in good standing and do not have any past or present complaints pending in any other organization. All members are required to have a telephone number, a facsimile number and an email address is preferred. All members will be screened and, if accepted, will become active within 36 hours.

Dues are to be paid in advance of your annual membership. All membership dues are prorated from the month you are initiated into the group. Your comments, ideas and suggestions are always welcome. Board members assisting us receive free memberships for their unpaid efforts, work and participation.

Please be advised, our Association will be proactive and involved with its members on all levels. However, it is the Broward Sheriff's Office who will be the final judge and determining factor as to how formal complaints are filed and handled against any member. If the Association of Broward County Special Process Servers Board finds any member acting unprofessionally or engaged in any activities we believe are unethical, illegal or against the policies of the Sheriff's office, you will be banned from this association and reported immediately. Our Black list of banned and reprimanded Special Process Servers is active yet we have nobody listed as of this date.
